Speak Now - Taylor Swift

Taylor Swift is America's Country and Pop sensation! She has topped the charts, sold the most albums AND won numerous awards for her amazing talent! Anyways, her newest album was released this past Monday. I wanted it so bad! I went to two Wal-Mart and they did not have the vinyl copy, which is the one I wanted. So I'm having to wait and order it online. The only song I've heard from the CD is her #1 hit "Mine". I absolutely love the music video!

"I remember we were sitting by the water, When you looked at me it was like the first time, You made a rebel of a careless man's careful daughter. You are the best thing that's ever been mine."

Here's the music video! Enjoy!

Our Trip to Wal-Mart

Today me and Dad went to Wal-mart and bought just food, food only at $120! Say what?! The only thing non-grocery was brown mailing paper, tissue paper and scotch tape. But those we had to have due to selling items on eBay.

Now, I have NO idea why milk is like over $3 a gallon! Grape Juice by Welch's is almost $4!! Hamburger meat was $5, Mt. Dew 6-pack was $3 as was Sprite. Pizza was $3, Pizza Rolls were also $3. Seriously, why is cinnamon rolls by Pillsbury cheaper than layered biscuits by the same brand?

Oh, and the most exciting part about the grocery shopping was NO SNACKS! Woo-hoo! Okay, so I bought one thing of Jello that is fat free, whatevah. But I was super glad to see some Granny Smith apples! Mhmmm! I would love to make some applesauce!

And the weirdest part of the afternoon? We checked out and I went to the other end of the store to get me a bottle of juice. While waiting in the checkout line, there's this lady talking to the cashier. No grocery on the line, so I figured, this will be quick. Ha! The lady was trying to get her price lower. First, she asked to cashier if they could hold this pajamma set for her little boy(who was in the buggy). The cashier told her they could not. So, the lady took the clothes off the bill and shook her head at the price. She handed the cashier some cash and pulled her wallet out. Now, I am behind her, holding my drink and two dollars. She looks at me and the money. I realize that she needs two dollars to pay her bill. I wanted to be nice, but instead I pushed the money in my pocket. The lady then dumps her wallet contents on the "whatchamacallit" and counts out two dollars in change. Literally I saw 50 pennies! Sheesh!

Oh, and while she's doing all this, her little boy is like out of control. He's standing up in the buggy and appears to be around 3 years old. He's jumping around in the buggy, pushing it back and forth so forcibly that I literally am backed up next to this old man. The little boy even proceeds to try to get onto this "whatchamacallit"(the thingy that carries the grocery to the cashier). I was like,"Ohmyword!".

There's my eventful day!
